Privacy Policy
What stays on your device, what is downloaded, and what website hosting or future ads may observe.
Local video and image processing
When you select a file, this application reads it inside your browser. It does not send selected videos or images, decoded frames, audio, output files or filenames to a processing server. There is no video-upload endpoint. The original file is not overwritten by processing. A direct-save destination is chosen by you through the browser.
Decoded media and the result use temporary memory. Selecting another video or image, or leaving the page releases the application’s references and object URLs. Browser and operating-system memory reclamation may not be immediate. A saved or downloaded result remains on your disk until you remove it. No selected media is written into localStorage, IndexedDB or the service-worker cache.
Website requests and caches
The browser downloads HTML, scripts, styles, icons and the selected model weights. Your hosting provider can receive ordinary connection data such as IP address, request URL, user agent and request time. The installed app may cache public website assets and model files; it excludes non-GET requests, video files and Blob URLs. Clearing browser site data removes these caches. This policy is not a claim of zero network activity.
Analytics, advertising and support
Google Analytics 4 is optional. Google scripts and analytics requests do not load until you accept analytics in the footer preferences. With consent, Google receives page views, basic upscale start/completion events and ordinary connection/device information. Our event code excludes media content, filenames, URL query strings and fragments. Advertising remains disabled; analytics consent does not grant advertising consent. Your media is still processed locally.
Your analytics choice is stored in localStorage for 180 days. Consented analytics uses first-party _ga cookies configured for up to 180 days. You can reject analytics later in the footer to disable further measurement and remove these host cookies. This does not delete information already received by Google; report retention also depends on the Analytics property settings. Browser privacy tools may block measurement. Google privacy information is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
If you choose to email support, your email provider and the recipient process that message separately from local upscaling. Send no private media. The operator and contact address are shown below.
